My approach and my offers
I am a Mexican-American, Oslo based, Massage therapist and female wellness professional with twenty years of experience in the field of holistic health; and almost a full decade focused on women and the ailments that we face as we transform and experience different stages of life.

Born and raised in Mexico City, I am a dual certified massage therapist in the United States and Thailand, a massage teacher, Rebozo bodywork practitioner and certified wellness guide. I focus my therapeutic massage sessions on chronic ailments, pain and stages of transition, and I have specialized training into massage for pregnancy, postpartum and the journey into menopause. I am certified by Norges Massasjeforbund as a Massage Therapist in Norway.

When it comes to motherhood wellness, I am a dual certified postpartum specialist (Innate Postpartum and Newborn Mothers), a trained baby-wearing consultant (Slingababy) and Birth Story Listener (Birth Story Medicine). When I work with mothers at any stage, I understand not only the process of change, but the specific aches and pains that come with posture, movement and how the the physical/emotional impact of caring for the baby —while trying to care for oneself — shows up in the mother’s body.

I love holistic wellness and I am currently in the second year of my training as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (Shakti School) and my certification in Pregnancy, Pelvic Floor and Muscular Chains (Fascia work) with FISIOM.

I offer massage on a table, or on the floor, I can work with oils or without them. I am a rebozo practitioner and do sessions for women and mothers. I can do a complete massage in 25 minutes, or dedicate two full hours to a deeply healing experience. My massage sessions are carefully crafted for each mother, and I offer a space where women can find restorative wellness. Babies are always welcome to my sessions, because moms need to feel peace. I offer extra support in the first year, because new mothers need care and they don’t need to be penalized for the unexpected that comes with motherhood.

“Mother, step-mother, well seasoned traveler and lifelong learner. I have a background in female empowerment and female comparative literature. I was born in Mexico City as a bicultural child and have lived in Mexico, USA, Thailand, Australia, France and Norway. I speak fluent English, Spanish and Norwegian and can communicate well in French and Italian. I’m an avid reader and lover of a slow life. Ayurveda has changed my life and motherhood gave my massage career a purpose. I welcome women of all ages to my space and my table. Mother or not, this restorative space is one for anyone looking to work with a qualified bodywork therapist that knows what is like to experience all these powerful life transitions of a woman.”

This is me
I am in my mid forties and my journey has been a long and fun one.
I began my career as a massage therapist in 2005 in Northern Thailand, where I studied massage for six months; I then travel to India to learn Ayurvedic Massage and eventually moved to South Florida in 2006 to get my credentials and license as a Massage Therapist in the United States.
Since then, I have learned different techniques including pregnancy therapeutic massage, postpartum therapy, advanced Thai massage techniques, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, reflexology, high risk stretching, abdominal care and scar tissue release, menopause massage, fascia release and therapeutic Rebozo bodywork; in countries including Thailand, USA, UK, Australia, Mexico, Indonesia and Norway.

In 2016, after the birth of my first son, I began working with a focus on women and mothers and since then I have channeled all my education towards finding the most adequate techniques to work with women in different stages of their life.
My work is centered on fusion bodywork with an intuitive-restorative approach. I support women in reconnecting with their own intuition so they can find their own path to wellness.

I spent the first few years of my massage career working along side a chiropractor and in the Spa Industry in the United States. I have almost twenty years experience in the field of massage, eight of them spent practicing —and extensively educating myself— in the field of women wellness and motherhood care.

I am the only NMF certified massage therapist in Oslo with both, ample training and experience in massage therapy as well as thorough pregnancy and postpartum specializations.
I have curated my own technique based on science-based learning, paired with intuitive use of the various techniques I master.
